We are always looking for ways to connect with our community and share our passion for good wine. Recently, we paired up with Somerset College to sponsor their annual Golf and Boule Day at De Zalze Golf Club.

Our shareholders are proud Somerset College parents and were delighted to be able to give back to the school where their children have flourished. We were very pleased to be a part of this annual event, celebrating the spirit of summer and camaraderie on the lush greens that held a special significance for us as parents, friends, and wine enthusiasts.

It was heartening to engage with the parents and players while sipping our wines to create a memorable summer Friday afternoon. Our goal was simple – to share the warmth and joy of summer with those who appreciate the finer things in life, and the De Zalze golf course provided the perfect backdrop.

Each player received a bottle of our Summer Sauvignon Blanc 2022, from the Stellenbosch region. This refreshing and light-bodied wine is the perfect way to celebrate the warmer months, and we were delighted to share it with the golfers and boule players.

At the 18th hole, near the temporary clubhouse amid ongoing renovations, we set up a pouring stand to share the vibrant and refreshing notes of our Summer Stellenbosch. For the red wine enthusiasts, we had our light and bright Finn, a delightful Rhône Blend. The atmosphere was lively, with laughter and the clinking of glasses at the end of the course.

We can't wait to see what the future holds for our partnership with Somerset College and De Zalze Golf Club and so excited to see the opening of the new De Zalze clubhouse soon.
